20 Up-And-Comers To Follow In The Robots That Vacuum And Mop Industry
Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris and wet mess in one time without the need to switch between devices. They can also reduce space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have impressive navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin and refill their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads using an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer for its relatively low cost, and it's one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual gets you running in no time. It comes with the complete dust bag, water tank and a hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that is able to clean up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops spin at high speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you can request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only problem is that the robot is known to smash into objects and walls at full speed. However, a quick look at the cleaning history on the app will reveal precisely what the robot has accomplished, where it's traveling, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station tells the maintenance tasks that are required like emptying the debris tray and rinsing its dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time, with the mop capable of running for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you see every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's most popular robot vacuum and mop. This year's model has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This increases the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power which allows it to pick up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.
This Roborock model, like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it get around obstacles like furniture, walls, and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining if they are walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its path automatically and clean around the objects without missing a step.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek, angular design is eye catching and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank self-empties, and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary) but it's a challenge to take off the mount itself to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number smart features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these via the Roborock app that is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track the life of batteries and maintenance on components. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the quality of its performance.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its intelligent design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while reducing time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair, crumbs and other dry messes. It comes with a mop of top quality that cleans hard floors without the need for pads. In addition, the X40 is quiet in it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of noise when switching between modes or when completing self-maintenance tasks.
The X40 has an additional side brush that can be lifted and extended. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean furniture with curved edges like chairs and table legs. It can also get under furniture with low profile which makes it a great option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots, which is a nice addition that helps the X40 avoid damaging floors with repeated back-andforth movements.

In contrast to other robots that only focus on one task, the X40 can do mopping and vacuuming at the same time or individually. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas, and reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.
The app is simple to use and understand The X40 is equipped with many clever features that are easy to install. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It is also possible to alter suction power, switch modes, look at floor plans and maps and manage mopping setting. The X40 will also monitor its progress and notify you when it is finished.
robot vacuum cleaner reviews is easy to keep clean and has many features that make it an excellent choice for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It also can detect whether the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and alert you to the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. It has a number of characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature of its mop, utilizes two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles and pick up spills and dirty spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station every time they are used. This is an excellent feature as it stops the growth of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuum and mop models, and it could be a good way of keeping your home cleaner for longer.
There's a wealth of options available which include the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. These can be set via the app or buttons on the unit itself. The app is easy to use and has a lot of options for customising the cleaning process, and there are a lot of features that other robots do not have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles, instead of using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks elegant and elegant. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this listing but it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors and in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
